Keeping it Simple

At Prep’d, we like to keep things as simple as possible in an otherwise complicated world. That’s why our nutrition philosophy is based on easy-to-understand principles that we’ve found simple, fun and rewarding to apply to our own lives.

The human body is an incredible machine, and when we give it the right fuel it performs as it should! So, we make sure our meals and snacks are full of the lean protein, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats your cells need on a daily basis. The optimal breakdown of each of these nutrients (or your macronutrient ratio) and ideal caloric range will vary according to your individual body’s needs. Calculating and understanding these unique needs within the context of your health and fitness goals is the work of a nutritionist, and not something we provide our customers. What we do provide, however, is a basic framework that you can use to help you meet whatever dietary requirements you may have.

Quality Above It All

We make nutrition information and ingredients for all our meals and snacks available on our website so you know exactly what you’re putting in your body. Our meals fall within a caloric range of 250-450, and our snacks within a range of 150-250. Consistency is important to us, but so is quality – we provide ranges because when working with seasonal ingredients sometimes our very talented chefs will audible. No matter what, we always work to remain with the range of both calories and macronutrients that you expect. Not to mention, we’ll always uphold the flavor you deserve!

Specific Dietary Requirements

While we don’t maintain specific standards for dietary needs such as gluten-free or Paleo, many of our meals and snacks do meet these requirements. Our menu page shows a breakdown of these meals, but if you have any questions about our ingredients please contact us. We will work with you to provide food that fits your unique needs as best we can.

Our chefs are also always hard at work in our test kitchen putting together new recipes and working with our certified nutritionist consultants to perfect them. If you have a recipe you’d love us to try, send us your ideas!
